He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Lynne Smith and Whitney Hoffman Dye; his grandchildren, Joseph H. Smith V and Caitlyn Grace Stall; and his great grandchild Brynlee Stall. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
