Shackelford in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Francis Shackelford and Bessie Orvin Shackelford; and his sisters, Frances Nunnery and Anne Ownbey. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Elizabeth Smoak Shackelford (Beth); his children, Charlotte Timmerman (Claude), William (Bill), Marc (Julie) and Paul (Kristin); his grandchildren, Clare (Cooper), Christopher (Michelle), Chad Timmerman (Jenn), Carlee, Katy, Kiira, Luke, Mia Shackelford and Forrest Morton (Kellan); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Camden Timmerman and Elwen Morton; and his brother Carey Shackelford (Jan).
