He is survived by: his children, Mark Sheppard of Charleston, SC, Deborah Martin of Dorchester, SC and Alice Clemons of Charleston, SC.; his stepchildren, Jeannie Swann of Charleston, SC, Vicki Moroughan (Lloyd) of Greenwood, DE, Lori Simpson (Tom) of Chester, SC and Michael Harris of Mount Pleasant, SC.; and his sisters, Ruby Jackson and Mary White (Robert). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
