He is survived by: his daughters, Cadedra Moody and Ja'Niya McBride; his close friend Shelia Moody; his siblings, James McBride (Jessica Ann), Gladell Turner (Detra), Rev. John Willie Turner, Laruth Ward (Johnny) and Joan Santez; and his nieces and nephews, Rashida Bethea, Billy Collins, Greg Turner and James McBride Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
