She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Mattie Morton Taylor and Hunter Taylor; her husband Deacon Woodrow Johnson; her son Michael Anthony Johnson of Newport News, VA; her sisters, Mary T. Jones (Randolph) of Stovall, NC and Annie M. Royster of Bullock, NC; her granddaughter Linette Edwards (Steve) of Marion, SC; her brother-in-law Harold Lewis (Bishop Terry) of Baltimore, MD; and also Brenda McZeke. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eloise Troy Chapel (247 NE Front St, Mullins, SC 29574, USA). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at 702 Georgetown St, Marion, SC 29571.
