She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Carter and Easter Carter; her brother John Raymond Carter; her son Douglas Smith; and her grandson Langston Foxworth.
She is survived by: her husband Christopher Joe of Mullins; her daughter Cherelle Foxworth (Bruce) of Mullins; and her granddaughter Janeya'Peach'Foxworth of Mullins. She is also survived by godchildren, seven stepchildren, two sister in laws, four brother in laws, dear aunts and uncles, treasured cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends who felt more like sisters and brothers.
