He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Clyde Collins and Mary Hannie Sawyer Collins; his wife Bernice Suggs Collins; and his brother William Hershal Collins. He is survived by: his children, Michael Levon Collins (Sara), Debbie Collins Page (Eddie) and Connie Collins Barrett (Chris); his grandchildren, Megan Page Herring (Cody), George Edwin "Jordi" Page, Colby Scott Barrett (Lauren Kelley), Cameron Walker Barrett (Malayna) and Conner Jackson Barrett; his great grandchildren, William Finn Herring, George Spencer Herring, Thomas Shep Herring and Shiloh Wade Barrett; his stepgranddaughter Kimberly Baxley Kennedy (Brad); and his brothers-in-law, Cecil Suggs (Marilyn), Harold Suggs (Lynn) and Ronnie Suggs. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
