With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Carter of Mullins, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gwendolyn Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louie Carter; her parents, Woodrow Cook and Betty Bullock; and her siblings, Johnny Cook, Bonnie Medlin and Carol Daniels.
She is survived by: her sons, Robby Henderson of Texas and Slade Hodges (Misty Marie) of Effingham, SC; her grandchildren, Rebecca Hodges, Shane Shelton and Stewart Bennett; and her siblings, Bill Cook, Terry Cook, Jack Cook, Bobby Cook and Renee Sanchez. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
