James Ward Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ward of Mullins, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert T. Ward and Lounita Powers Ward; and his brother Michael Ward (Delores). He is survived by: his wife Jane Graves Ward; his daughters, Melanie Ward Stanley (Stacy) of Galivants Ferry, Leigh Ward Polk (Chuck) of Florence, Emmy Shaw Moore (Rocky) of Florence and Mary Catherine Ward George (Jeff) of Mullins; his siblings, Tim Ward of Marion and Becky Ward Bacot (John) of Surfside Beach; his brother-in-law Buddy Graves (Dea) of Mullins; his grandchildren, Will Stanley, Matthew Stanley, Daniel Stanley, Tripp Polk, Charlotte Polk and Caroline Moore; and his pets, Kobe and George. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
