He was predeceased by: his father Haskell Page Smith. He is survived by: his mother Cadell Hinds Smith; his brother H. P. "Smitty" Smith (Kathryn) of Charlotte, NC; and his sibling's children, Alec P. Smith of New York, NY and Kari M. Smith of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
