He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mason and Sarah Mason; his wife Ann Lois Mason; his son Ernest Mason; and his sister Betty J. Lewis.
He is survived by: his son Eric Mason of Clementon, NJ; his grandson Miles Mason of Voorhees, NJ; his siblings, Verna R. Tate of Baltimore, MD, Lee E. McCall, Hattie Genwright (Mac) of Charlotte, NC, Mae Frances Stevenson and Bishop Robert Lee Mason (Doris) of Mullins; his goddaughters, Dr. Yolanda Henderson-Tumpkin (Joseph) and Cassandra "Bird" Parker; and his friend Jimmy Cunningham. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heavensway Baptist Church (5082 Tremont Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
