Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linwood Capps of Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 92, on April 21, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sandy Leroy Capps and Eula Blanche Lewis Capps; his wife Virginia; and his siblings, Treadway, Aubrey, Grady, Felton, Thelbert Capps, Grace "Queen" Byrd, Edith Coxe and Barbara Anne Hucks.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Capps (Mary Ann), Rodney Capps (Elise), Sandi Lee and Marlene Capps; his grandchildren, Bridgett Kennedy (Raymond), Amber Harrelson (Jami), Ryan Capps (Brooke), Karsyn Capps and Kennedy Capps; and his great grandchildren, Tucker Harrelson and Elena Hathaway. He is also survived by grandfather to his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meares Funeral Home (6227 US-76, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
