She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick M. Powell of Fair Bluff; her parents, Hubert Burdell Floyd and Winnie Ford Floyd; and her brothers, Paul, Ricky and Doug.
She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Babson of Sunset Beach and Patrick M. Powell, Jr. of Fair Bluff; and her granddaughters, McKenzie Babson and Marley Babson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Collins Funeral Home (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (625 Pine St, Nichols, SC 29581).
