She was predeceased by : her spouse Legrande Sawyer of Mullins; her parents, James Morgan Cooper and Lillie Turner Cooper; her daughter Connie Sawyer Rabon; and her siblings, Maude Norris, Linda Smith, Fodia Mae Jackson, Fletcher Cooper and Mack Cooper.

She is survived by : her son James Legrande "Rusty" Sawyer, Jr. of Mullins; her grandchildren, Kirt Jackson, Mathew Rabon (Theresa) and Sean Rabon; her great grandchildren, Caleb Jackson, Sarah Bethea, Mathew Jordan Rabon, Jr. and Hudson Rabon; and her siblings, Blenda Hardy of Mullins and Roosevelt Cooper of Mullins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
