She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Arthur Brown and Alice Evelyn Alford Brown; her husband Joseph Clifford Pittman; her daughter Linda Alice Pittman Richardson; her son-in-law Herbert Lamar Richardson, Jr.; her granddaughter Teresa Lynn Richardson; and her siblings, Grace Capps, Jean Evelyn Harrelson, Lois Permenter, Dotherine Tate and A. Lavern Brown.
She is survived by: her brother Don L. Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Gapway Baptist Church in Honor of Ruby Brown Pittman, 2305 South Highway 41, Mullins, SC 29574.
