Tanya Tucker Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Tanya Tucker of Mullins, South Carolina. Tanya, born on June 9, 1939, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. "Bill" Brogdon and Azalee Johnson Brogdon; her husband J. D. Tucker; and her siblings, W. B. "Butch" Brogdon, Doreen Brogdon Shirah and Judy Brogdon Garris.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Tucker (Cherie), Kevin Tucker and Kent Tucker; her grandsons, Ridge and Rivers Tucker; her siblings, Kirkland Brogdon (Charm), David Brogdon (Janice), Barbara Brogdon Sawyer, Jean Brogdon Helms (Colin) and Diane Brogdon Price; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Brogdon and Cary Garris.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meares Funeral Home (6227 US-76, Mullins, SC 29574).
In lieu of flowers, you may honor her memory by taking a walk in your own neighborhood and picking up a piece of trash or by donating to a charity of your choice.
