With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bette Wakefield (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bette left this world on November 6, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Edward Peters and Ruth Elaine Powley Peters. She is survived by: her pet Cooper; her son Chad J. Wakefield (Danielle); her grandchildren, Silas, Kayla of Tennessee and Chase J. Wakefield (Kassie); her great grandchildren, Riley, Cameron, Connor, William and Wyatt of Socastee; her son Cooper; her brother Dennis Peters (Robin) of Garden City; and her aunt Gail. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
