He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary T. Williams and David J. Williams Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Williams; and his children, Shaw Williams (Martine), Joseph Williams (Melissa) and Tori Williams (Jacob).

He used his love of golf to help those in need by facilitating golf tournaments for charity.
