With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Smith (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina), who passed away on September 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Cheryl has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Stefan and Evelyn Stefan (O'Shea). She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chip" Smith of Surfside Beach; her daughter Kristin Gabrill (Charles) of Langhorne, PA; and her granddaughter Lilah Gabrill. She is also survived by close friends and many supportive neighbors.
