We bid farewell to Dorthy Roepe of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2026 at the age of 94. Dorthy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nova O. Edwards Stanfill Capshaw and George W. Stanfill; and her siblings, Donnie Murphy, Elbert Stanfill, Evelyn Miller, Clarence Stanfill and Martha Chalmere.
She is survived by: her husband Navy; her children, Susan Dunmoyer and Gordon Roepe (Bill); her grandchildren, Jan Ainger (Tim) and Meagan Bricker; and her sister Betty Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dot's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, or to a charity of your choice.
