It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Jackson of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Eugene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eugene. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Grady Jackson and Clara Elizabeth James Jackson. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Diane Blevins; his brothers, David Jackson, Ansel Jackson and Ray Jackson; his wife Elizabeth Lambert Jackson; his daughter Loretta Dennis (Gene) of Manning, SC; his grandson Harley Dennis; and his brother Larry Jackson (Cheryl) of Florence, SC. He is also survived by extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
