Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydus Hicks and Doris Frady Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Silveria Hicks; his daughter Lisa Hicks (John Harford); his brothers, Dale Hicks, Bruce Hicks (Kristie) and Brian Hicks (Tina); his sisters-in-law, Patty Silveria and Jeannie Wofford; his close friend Julie Solari; and his goddaughter Misty Cumby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and loving cousins.
