He was predeceased by : his parents, Kathryn Rice and Gerard Rice; and his sister Diane Cummings. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Rice; his children, Scott T. Rice (Sherry) of Hanover, MD and Stacy Rice of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his siblings, Greg A. Rice of Thomas River, NJ, Thomas E. Rice of Miller Place, NY, Kathleen Christie of Socastee, SC, Suzanne Romaine of Coram, NY and Janet Doyle of Ridge, NY..
