He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol Cooper; his children, Tess Porter (James) of Charlotte and Mike Alexander, Jr. (Allison) of Indian Trail, NC.; and his grandchildren, Sierra Alexander, Alex Porter, Bradley Porter and Landyn Alexander.
