He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Hanna (Porier) and James Louis Hanna; his wife Lavilla Jo Hanna (Edmonds); his brother Earl G. Hanna; and his nephew Edward Hanna.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Renee Hanna Irvin (Scott) of Ellington, CT, James E. Hanna (Leslie) of Perry, OH and Aaron Michael Hanna (Diane) of Geneva, OH.; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lee Walker of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ashley Michelle Hanna Cole of Eastlake, OH and Aaron James Hanna of Geneva, OH.; his great grandchildren, Dominic Joseph Bonarrigo, Logan Renee Walker, Dennis G. Walker Jr. and Luca Zane Cole; and his great great grandchild Aura Mae Walker. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Sea Lutheran Church (2637 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
