He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Dawson and Amy Dawson (Hasson); his son Joseph; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Dawson (Ruiz); his sons, John (Maryann) of Surfside Beach, James (Joan) of Zelienople, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey (Lyn) of Bristol, Virginia; and his sister JoAnne Norton of Reston, Virginia.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Harold's wish was that any donations in his memory be made to the Suffern Hook and Ladder Company #1 at 143 Lafayette Ave, Suffern Ny 10901.
