She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Elmer Kirby and Irene Francis Schoeffner Kirby. She is survived by: her husband Norman W. Johnson, Jr. of Murrells Inlet; her daughters, Laura Bormans (Bart) and Jill Krebs (Bill) of Pawleys Island; her grandchildren, Paige Brown (Mark), Kirby Louis Martin, Jeroen Bormans (Kayleigh Habets-Bormans), Bas Bormans, Timothy Krebs (Jenny), Billy Krebs (Brittie), Joe Krebs (Anna) and Evan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Eleanor Brown and Timothy Krebs; and her pet Bennie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a large and loving extended family; and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
