It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Patrick Foley of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ryan Foley and Alma Walsh; and his sisters, Audrey, Pat, Alma and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Foley (Patsy); his grandchildren, Ruby Grice, Aidan, Ryan Ortiz, Logan and Dylan Dunn; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Mulhern of Lantana, FL and Michael Mulhern of Long Valley, NJ; and his sibling's children, Kelley, Kyle, Charlotte and Veronica. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A prayer was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Michael Catholic School Tuition Fund.
