Linda Woods Obituary
We announce the death of Linda Woods of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 82. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Linda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Linda will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Rice and Clarissa Goranson Rice; and her husband William "Billy" Woods. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Cathy Woods; and her children, Scott Wilson (Heather), Deborah Blaschke (Jeff) and Lisa Schafer (Chris). She is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
