He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Mercer Morrisette, Sr. of Elizabeth City, NC and Helen Gaither Morrisette; his brother William Allen Morrisette; and his brother-in-law Ronald N. Sides. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his daughters, Jennifer Morrisette Cowden of Greenville, SC and Kimberly Morrisette Conder of Durham, NC; his sons-in-law, David H. Cowden IV and Johnathon Conder; his grandsons, David Alexander Cowden and Benjamin Mercer Cowden; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Fesperman Sides, Harriet Fesperman Black, Beth Fesperman Saintsing, Debra Phelps Morrisette, C. Clifton Black and Dean Saintsing. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
