He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Forrest Hays; his wife Robyn King Hays of Murrells Inlet; his children, Skylar W. Hays of Mirmar, CA and Steely J. Hays of Murrells Inlet; his brothers, Stephen Hays (Jen) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Gary Hays (Karen) of Port Charlotte, FL and Jeff Hays (Teresa) of St. Marys, OH; his parents-in-law, Gene and Bette King of Surfside Beach; his brothers-in-law, Rodney King of Conway, SC and Harvey King of Myrtle Beach; his nieces and nephews, Laura Sursi, Luke Hays, Keila Stucky, Matt Hays, Shannon Felker, Shawn Hays, Deanna Halko, Alek King, Elle King, Chandler King, Walker King and Parker King; and his pets, Yogi and Boo Boo.
