It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Lloyd (Murrells Inlet, South Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Alice Mertie Lloyd; his wife Edna Lloyd; and his grandson Joshua Poole. He is survived by: his children, John Poole (Stephanie), James Poole (Michelle), LaDonna Snellbaker (Craig), Marvin Lloyd and Darvin Lloyd; and his siblings, John Lloyd (Carol) and Mary Apple (Rich). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
