We bid farewell to Michael John McCarthy of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Fredrick Lyons McCarthy and Angela Campbell McCarthy. He is survived by : his wife Linda Marie McCarthy of Murrells Inlet; and his son Devyn Michael McCarthy (Stephanie). He is also survived by many loving cousins; and many supportive friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
