Oliver Gary Pierce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oliver Gary Pierce of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Henry Pierce and Henrietta Elizabeth Busch Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Tara Michelle Pierce and Robert Gary Pierce; his brother Larry Pierce; his wife Leveta Ammons Pierce; his son Jonathon Matthew (Raechelle) of Waialua, HI; his granddaughter Madeline Victoria Pierce; and his siblings, Wayne Pierce (Norma) of Port Royal, SC, Roland Pierce (Joyce) of Oklahoma City, OK, Clay Pierce (Stacy) of Sapulpa, OK and Kathy Sherrill (Buddy) of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
