With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Reed of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Schmidlin and Marjorie Schmidlin; her daughter Jennifer Reed Sheridan; her brothers, Robert Schmidlin and Ronald Schmidlin; her parents-in-law, Mary and William C. Reed; her son-in-law Eric Wise; and her sister-in-law Mary Reed Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband John Reed of Murrells Inlet, SC; her children, Susan Reed Wise of Newark, DE and John Reed, Jr. (Laura) of Malvern, PA; her sister Polly Cross of Whitehouse, OH; and her son-in-law Richard Sheridan of Davidsonville, MD. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
