It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Patricia Townsend of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 95, on October 7, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Townsend; her son-in-law David; and her grandson Michael. She is survived by: her children, Elaine, Geoffrey (Norma), Paul (Daisy) and Jane; her grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Nicole, Geoffrey, Brittany, Paul, Ryan, John, Lauren, Peter, Kayla and William; and her great grandchildren, Tessa, Nicholas, Scarlett, Wesley, Elizabeth, Catherine, Lillian, Brayden and Zoey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to All For Paws in Pawleys Island, SC, or any local animal shelter in her name, honoring her love for animals.
