In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Phyllis had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her parents, Williard Berninger and Mildred "June" Berninger (Martin); her son Darius Scot Brickler; and her siblings, Elsie Edmondson and Wayne Berninger.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Brickler; her son-in-law Scott Cahill; and her granddaughters, Samantha Cahill of Ventura, CA and Rebecca Walton (Christopher Walton) of Eutawville, SC.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Formerly the Scott Street Pavilion (1915 Scott Street, Lafayette, IN 47904).
