She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hobart Hall and Ollie Mae Short Hall; her husband Kenneth Lane; and her siblings, Helen Hall, Bernice Fisher, Julius Hall, Charles Hall Jr., Ruby Talton, Marie Harder and Frances Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Derek K. Lane (Janice) of Greensboro, NC, Melodye Lane-Laveglia (Dan) of Surfside Beach, SC and Chris H. Lane (Adrianne) of Ash, NC; her grandchildren, Devin Lane (Amanda), Charlie Lane (Sabrina) and Jordan Lane (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Griffin Lane, Barrett Lane, Lily Belle Lane, Cameron Lane, Kenzie Evens and Madelyn Evans.
