He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Grosskopf and Richard Grosskopf; and his sisters, Marion Clarke and Charlotte Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his brother Billy; his sibling-in-law Lee Beveridge; his children, Richard (Deborah Grosskopf) and Debora (Roque Orts); and his grandchildren, Jeff, Steph, Jackson, Cole and Josh. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
