We bid farewell to Richard Michael Meglio of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John Meglio and Adele Meglio; his sons, Michael and Robert Meglio; his brother Robert Meglio; and his pets, Cosmo, Bella and Cindy.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Meglio of Murrells Inlet, SC; his son Gerald Meglio (Jacqueline) of Sunrise, FL; his grandchildren, Michael and Taylor Meglio; his great grandchildren, Ariella and Antonella; his stepson Thomas Petrizzo; his mother-in-law Sally Nappo; and his pet Sally. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
