He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Doherty and June Munnings Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Milazzo; his children, Conor Doherty (Paige) of Newton and Briana Panetti (Daniel) of Myrtle Beach; his siblings, Raymond Doherty (Kirsten) of Ocean Gate, Noel Parnell (Kent) of Billings and Kathleen Cherniss (Christopher) of Sacramento, California; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Doherty and Tara Doherty; his mother-in-law Marie Milazzo; his nephews, Aaron, Liam, Sean, Brian, Salvatore (Amelia) and Vincent (Lymari); his great-nephews, Julian (Hiba), Wade and Brian; his nieces, Jordan, Kerrianne, Gina, Geraldine (Luis) and Kate; and his great-niece May. He is also survived by extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
