It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Brendel of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roland may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brendel and Edna Brendel; his daughter Kimberly Reischling; and his siblings, Glen Brendel, Charles Brendel and Betty Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Brendel (Wendy) of Surfside Beach, SC and Barbara Reynolds of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his partner Sandy Paro of Murrells Inlet, SC. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
