He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Patterson and Betty Rice Patterson; and his daughter Sarah Patterson. He is survived by: his fiancée Janice Broom of Murrells Inlet; his daughter Melissa Huffman (Phillip); his grandchildren, Kaylie and Colton of Dunkirk, Maryland; and his brothers, Glenn Patterson (Sandy) of Surfside Beach, SC and Jerry Patterson (Jo Ann) of Troy, Ohio. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
