As we bid Stella Anne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stella Anne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Henry "Hal" Allen Willis and Mildred Willis (Byess); her husband Dr. James B. Berry Jr. of Marion, SC; and her son Thomas LeGrande Berry II of Charleston, SC.. She is survived by: her sons, James "Chip" B. Berry III and Allen "Hal" Willis Berry; her daughters-in-law, Wanda Quarles Berry and Karen Smith Berry; and her grandchildren, Thomas LeGrande Berry III (Abbie Berry), Ashley Berry Kilrain (Michael Kilrain), AnnaLee Berry Johnston (Eric Johnston) and James "Jay" B. Berry IV. She is also survived by five beautiful great-grandsons.
