She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dent and Joan Marie Dent; her daughter Patricia Dianne Gibson; her siblings, Francine Deinlien, Irene Hart and John Dent; and her pets, Oscar, Buster, Hershey and Smiley.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Gibson; her daughter Kela Gibson (David) of Fredericksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jordan Casey (Carissa) of El Paso, TX, Taylor Castillo (Daniel) of San Diego, CA and Shawn Casey of Cape May, NJ; her great grandchild Olivia Castillo; and her siblings, Catherine Behanna of Myrtle Beach, SC and Elmer Dent, Jr. of Providence, RI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
