We are sad to announce that, on December 28, 2025, at the age of 76, Thomas Hess Jr. of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Hess, Sr. and Betty L. Hays Hess. He is survived by: his wife Vickie L. Hess; his children, Shannon Souza (Jesse) of New Hampshire, Adam Hess (Michaela) of England, Jamie Combs (Roy) of Missouri and Tiffany Haley of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Georgeina "Georgie Plumb" Souza, Odin, Olyias, Oaklin Hess, Hayden, Haley, Jackson Cottrell, Hollyn Fischer, Kaylee, Callaway, Camden and Shay Combs; and his sisters, Cynthia Sutton (Ron) of Hillsboro, MO, Christina Hess of Barnhart, MO and Barbara Rush of Crystal City, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family; and many supportive friends and neighbors.
