It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Gerace of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Vera may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vera touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mykola Jaroszenko and Anna Jaroszenko; and her husband Carmine Gerace. She is survived by: her son Peter Gerace; and her grandson Cullen Gerace of Murrells Inlet.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or flowers planted in her memory.
