He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Dunaway and Christine Viola Moates Dunaway. He is survived by: his close friend Roger Fipps; his wife Judy Ard Dunaway; his children, Joseph Dunaway (Sunny) of Port St Lucie, FL, Patty Wham (Benji) of Georgetown, Stephanie Mishoe Stacy of Eastover, SC and Dan Mishoe (Heather) of Richlands, NC.; his grandchildren, Zachary Smith of Surfside, Skylar (Mitch), Jencyn, Sawyer, Elijah, Wyatt of Tanner, BJ, Emily, Hudson, Ivy and Indie; and his close friends, Sean Masterson, David McGalliard, Buddy Bibb, Lynne French, Kim Summer, Ernie and Chris Gonzales.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
