He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Mercer and Lilian Louisa Davis; and his siblings, George Mercer, Becky Hickman Sr., Dorothy Rogge (Bud), Carol Tessier and Beatrice Mercer.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn MacLean of Murrells Inlet, SC; his daughter Shannon MacLean; his grandchildren, TJ and Shaunice; and his sister Ginny Mercer (Herb).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 178 (3950 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
