With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Taylor of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Taylor and Thelma Taylor; his former wife Mary Taylor; and his sister Diana Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Diane Taylor of Murrells Inlet; his children, William "Tom" Taylor (Kim), Lourie Taylor and Patrick Taylor (Chris); his stepchildren, Jenny Punjack (John), Danny Haines and David Haines (Maria); his grandchildren, Will Taylor (Courtney), Morgan Edwards (Sam), Kaylyn Clayton (Grant) and Alexis Whitmore (ZacK); his great grandchildren, Mary Katherine Taylor, Annie Clayton, Hamilton Clayton, Benjamin Edwards, Mason Taylor and Wyatt Whitmore; and his pet Minnie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
